GROUP: 3rd Grade

DATE: February  27th to March 3rd,  2017

Session: 1 (Monday )

GROUP GOALS: Kids work with emotions

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, We learn…, Brain Gym ( activación del brazo ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.
MANTRA: I love everything I do.

 Uses complete simple sentences and compound sentences.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Emotion cards pictures

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. ) 
2. Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 25 one time (10min.) 
3. Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. (10 min.) 
4. In pairs Kids talk about KiVa lesson 2 questions: Where do emotions come from? How do you know how someone is feeling?(10 min)
5. Kids draw emotion cards.( 15 min.)
6. Kids show their emotion depicted in the picture with facial expressions, gestures, and movements.(10 min.)
7. Kids hear an emotion by reciting “Humpty  Dumpty “ in different emotions.(5 min.)
8. Kids practice on Sistema UNO book  page 134 (10min.)
7. They  write the homework on homework section. (10 min.)

GROUP GOALS: Interacts with others for the purposes of visualize and compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (activación del brazo),Spell 5 words, Copy Homework.
MANTRA : I am here for myself and myself only

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
Interacts with others for the purposes of making questions and visualize pictures.
Infers the problable outcome of an event or behaviour based on observations.

GROUP GOAL: They will publish in Facebook and Twitter their reading comprehension work. Students will write and illustrate new vocabulary words on the notebook.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products):  Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )  
Kids listen to the story  “ Small Spot” (5min.)
They  visualize the pictures about the story as they listen to it.   ( 20 min. )
They draw  in a sheet of paper what they visualized. (15min.)
 In pairs they share their work in Facebook.(10min.)
        6.     Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 25 one time. ( 10 min. )
        7.      Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
        8.      Theyl write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )

MANTRA: There are no Right or Wrong ideas

CURRICULAR AREA:

Social studies.

Writing and representing
 Earth and space science
 Processes and skills of social studies.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS):
 Uses their senses for drawing conclusions.
 Presents information using oral, written or visual representations.
 Describes physical properties of water, air and soil

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Pictures of valuable and not valuable objects

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )
        2.       Kids  copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 11 to 15 week 25 one time. ( 10 min.)
        3.Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
They l write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )
In pairs kids talk about valuable and not valuable objects they know.(5min.)
They take a piece of paper and make pictures of the objects.(15min.)
They share their work in Facebook (10min.)

MANTRA: Mistakes are part of my Learning Process

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
        1. Describes the attributes of people they admire.
        2. Uses prior vocabulary when interacting with others.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Kids writing using adjectives 

ACTIVITIES: 1.  Daily routine. ( 10 min. )
       2.   Kids create sentences to describe landscapes . (15min.)
       3.   On Language Arts notebook kids must write including as many adjectives as they can to descibe landscapes.(15min.)
       4.   They share their work in Facebook. (15min.) 
       5.   They write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )

 Precits and makes connections during reading to construct, monitor and confirm meaning.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): A message that  promotes caring our Earth in Twitter

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )  
              2.  Kids talk about caring our Earth in group of three. (10min.)
              3.  They write a message about caring our Earth in the iPad. (15min.)
              4.  Kids share their messages in Twitter. (5min.)
              5.Children write homework in homework notebook. ( 10 min. )
