PROJECT: I KNOW MY WORLD AND LET OTHERS KNOW ME.
 
THEME: I AM ABLE TO GENERATE PEACE

GROUP: 3rd Grade

DATE: March 27th to 30th,  2017

Session: 1 (Monday ) 

GROUP GOALS: Think about what is meant by a group.

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, We learn…, Brain Gym ( flexión del pie ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Uses complete simple sentences and compound sentences.
 Recognizes when a problema exists
 
DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Drawing of emotion detective.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. ) 
2. Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 29 one time (10min.) 
3. Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. (10 min.) 
4.Kids answer these questions from KiVa lesson 3 “Our Class – everyone is included!  Who can explain what a group is? Do the people in your balloon bouquet form groups that you belong to? What kinds of groups can there beat school? (15min.)
5. They go to the patio and play THE HELIUM STICK. (10min.)
7. They write the homework on homework section. (10 min

Session: 2 ( Tuesday )

GROUP GOALS: Interacts with others for the purposes of visualize and compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (flexión del pie),Spell 5 words, Copy Homework.

CURRICULAR AREA:

SUBAREA
Ask, Visualize
Writing and representing

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
Interacts with others for the purposes of making questions and visualize pictures.
Infers the problable outcome of an event or behaviour based on observations.
Uses of vocabulary words .

GROUP GOAL: They will publish in Facebook and Twitter their reading comprehension work. Students will write and illustrate new vocabulary words on the notebook.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products):  Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )  
Kids listen to the story “The Three Little Pigs” based on an English folk tale. (10min.)     
They  visualize the pictures about the story as they listen to it.   ( 10 min. )
They draw  on a sheet of paper what they visualized. (15min.)
 In pairs they share their work in Facebook.(10min.)
        6.     Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 29 one time. ( 10 min. )
        7.      Kids illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
        8.     They write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min.

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym ( flexión del pie  ), Mental Math, Copy Homework.

 Oral Language
Healthy living. 

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS):
Uses their senses for drawing conclusions.
2 .    Identifies the main information provided in illustrations
3.    Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Drawings of their heart. 

ACTIVITIES: 1. Daily routine. ( 10 min. )
      2 .Kids copy on their vocabulary notebook vocabulary words 11 to 15 week 29 one time. ( 10 min.)
      3. Kids  illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
      4. They write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )
     5. Kids investigate how their heart works and make a drawing. (20min.)
      6.  They share their information in Facebook. (10min.)
      7. They answer activity on S1book page 129.

GROUP GOALS: Kids use first, then, next, finally to explain the steps in a process.

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (flexión del pie   ), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework.

CURRICULAR AREA:
 Health and Physical Education
Language arts
Social studies. 

SUBAREA
 Health
Writing and representing. 
Skills and processes of social studies. 

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
        1. Identifies foods and activities that contribute to good health.
        2. Uses prior vocabulary when interacting with others.
       3. Presents information using oral, written or visual representations.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Kids representations. 

ACTIVITIES: 1.  Daily routine. ( 10 min. )
Kids watch the video (S1) and kids will look at the pictures and number them in correct order.(5min.)
 Kids name the workers involved in a farm. (2min.)
Kids  represent the process that bread follows from the farm to the store, including workers and products using the steps in a process.(10min.)
Kids use vocabulary words in context as they complete the crossword. (10min.)
They write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min. )
